A report showing the development potential of your home could make it more attractive to buyers

New website helps you decide to move or improve

If you can't decide whether or not to move house or stay in your existing home and improve it, a new website has been set up to help you.

Betternest.co.uk has launched something called a Property Potential Report.

It will put together a 20 page report on your house and what you can do with it. This includes planning searches, 3D visualisations of the ideal development, a detailed project cost, and how much your property could be worth after the work, based on current market conditions.

It will also reveal whether your property can be extended without planning permission thanks to little-known clause called Permitted Development Rights.

The report isn't cheap at £495. But it will give you better information to make your move or improve decision.

And if you are moving, it's something you can throw into the sale for the new owners to use to improve their new home.
